As the only surviving ship from the 100-year-old Battle of Jutland, HMS Caroline will be a major part of the centenary taking place in the Orkney Islands next week.

It pulled in 250 ships and 100,000 men.
Out of this total, the British lost 14 ships and 6,094 men were killed.
The German loses totaled six ships and five torpedo boats with 2,551 dead.
