HMS Neptune's Volunteer Band Needs You!

Kilcreggan Primary School, on the Scottish west coast, is getting well and truly into the Christmas spirit.

It's been treated to a special carol concert by the HMS Neptune Volunteer Band, from nearby HM Naval Base Clyde.

Around 40 musicians between 14 and 80 currently play in HMS Neptune Volunteer band.

It's a mixture of serving military personnel, civilians and veterans from the Helensburgh and Lomand area - and now they're on the lookout for new members.

Its musicians have performed at concerts, as well as having the chance to travel across Europe and the United States.

Throughout the UK nine Royal Navy volunteer bands bring music to their local community, and HMS Neptune are hoping to find new members to join them in 2017.
