From carriers to commandos: Incredible photos featured in Royal Navy competition
From the flight deck of aircraft carriers to the snowy fjords of Norway, pictures taken by Royal Navy photographers have been featured in the service's annual photo competition.
All the pictures featured in the competition come from service personnel who operate behind the lens, capturing moments around the globe.
The Peregrine Trophy, which takes place every year, features entries from Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel, who follow the deployments of the Senior Service wherever they go.
From emotional homecomings to frontline operations and exercises, everything is on show.
Leading Photographer Finn Stainer-Hutchins won the individual award, having also won the previous year's competition, and said it was a "great honour to win a second time in a row".
"I've really enjoyed capturing iconic moments of the Royal Navy through my lens and hope it inspires others to take up photography," he said.
