The Royal Marines may have seen their calendar shut down but there's a new military calendar thanks to a curious kitten.

The Royal Navy's Flying Tiger Squadron has created a new calendar for 2017 following the story of now-deployed Lt Nick Grimmer finding a kitten wedged under his car made international news earlier this year.

The cat was named Tigger and rehomed by the Tigers own commanding officer.

In the spirit of charity, 814 Naval Air Squadron created the Royal Navy Meets Kittens Calendar to raise money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.
