1 AMW: Loading Aircraft For Half A Century
The unit that loads personnel and equipment on and off military transport planes is 50 this year.
The Royal Air Force’s Number 1 Air Mobility Wing is based at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
The Wing also includes six permanent Air Movements Detachments around the world including the RAF Airport Unit at Hannover in Germany.
