Labour Of Love: Restoring A Hampden To Its Former Glory

A rare example of an early World War Two bomber has been pulled back together for the first time since its wreckage was discovered.
 
Only three Hampden bombers of the original 1,430 are left.
 
This one, which was discovered 27 years ago at a crash site in Russia, is the best - and the subject of a painstaking restoration project at the RAF Museum in Cosford.
