The Olympic Medallist Coaching Forces Judo

Double Olympic silver medallist Neil Adams, a judo star of the 1980 and 1984 Olympic Games, has been helping today's forces martial artists.

The former world champion has been giving them the benefits of his vast experience.

On coaching the forces team, he said:
"I think it's very important that we look at the smaller details because it's not always about just getting on there and doing the physical part of it; it's about learning how the techniques work and why they work".
Mr. Adams commented on the issue of judo being one of the more technical martial arts, and said that even though he is in his fiftieth year doing the sport, he is still learning about the sport.

And, no doubt, he also has a lot to teach forces students.
