RAF Pilot Reunited With Spitfire

One of the last surviving pilots from Czechoslovakia that served in the RAF during the Second World War has taken to the skies once again.

General Emil Bocek paid a visit to Biggin Hill recently and was given the chance to fly in a Spitfire for the first time in more than 70 years.
At St George's RAF Chapel in Biggin Hill, he was accompanied by the Archbishop of Prague and members of the Czech embassy.

He was at the Biggin Hill Heritage hangar to honour his colleagues.

It was a day he'd been waiting for, for a very long time.
