Cadets Plant Somme Memorial Woodland

Army cadets from all over Northern Ireland braved the weather over the weekend to plant a new memorial marking the 100th Anniversary of the battle of the Somme.

The specially designed wooded glade will pay tribute to the sacrifice made by the thirty-sixth Ulster Division on 1 July 1916.
