2015 ended with British forces showing their versatility by helping flood-hit communities in the north of England. 
 
From evacuating people from their homes, repairing damaged bridges and airlifting supplies - the involvement of troops was critical. 
 
Throughout December, Forces TV teams were on the ground in the worst-affected counties of Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire.
