The Imperial War Museum Duxford: "Home Of The Spitfire"

As part of Forces TV's series this week looking at some of Britain's most popular museums, we now turn the spotlight on the Imperial War Museum Duxford.

This centre for aviation history calls itself the "home of the Spitfire" and sits on one of the best-preserved Second World War airfields.

Britain's largest aviation museum, Duxford houses the IWM's large exhibits, including nearly 200 aircraft, military vehicles, artillery and minor naval vessels in seven main exhibition buildings.
