Speaking to Survivors Of Stalag XI-B

70 years ago the first British prisoner-of-war camp in Nazi Germany was liberated by advancing Allies.

More than 12,000 captives experienced the harsh conditions of Stalag XI-B at Fallingbostel.

Only a few of the former prisoners survive, but as Rob Olver reports, two of them have returned to Germany for the anniversary of their liberation.

A former prisoner of the camp reflected on the conditions POW's suffered:

"It wasn't fit for human beings or any other animal - and the people in charge of it, they were about as good as our local dog"
