Military boxers Terri Stuart and Amelia Kennedy have been selected for their first international boxing assignment since both were both selected for the England Boxing squad following a year of standout performances.

Terri Stuart, who serves in the British Army, and Amelia Kennedy, who serves in the RAF, will represent England at the Silesian Competition, an all-female tournament which is set to take place in Gliwice, Poland.

They were two out of seven England boxers to compete at this tournament, in which the 2026 edition marks England Boxing's return to the historic competition, following previous appearances in 2023 and 2024.

Stuart and Kennedy were both selected to join the England Boxing Senior Performance Squad back in June after impressing selectors at recent tournaments.

Amelia Kennedy was selected after what has been a breakout year for the RAF Brize Norton-based boxer, where she won titles at the England National Amateur Championships, a gold medal at the Four Nations Championships and a silver at the Golden Girl Box Cup in Sweden.

Terri Stuart has been a bright spot for the Army Boxing team for a number of years and already has international experience competing for England under her belt.

In 2026, she won the UKAF Championships before going on to win gold at the Haringey Box Cup at Alexandra Palace.

The Silesian Competition runs from 25-29 August.
