T20 Inter Services Cricket: Lord's No Longer Hosting 2021 Championships

The T20 Inter Services Cricket Championships will not be played at Lord's Cricket Ground this year.

It was originally announced that the tournament would take place at the 'Home of Cricket' on June 18.

However, the matches will now be played "later in the summer" at a location yet to be announced.

The latest Government guidelines meant Forces sports boards were 'cautiously optimistic' about a return to action.

Working towards a June date, the service's cricket teams would have found it difficult to prepare for the showpiece event in the usual way.

It has been confirmed that the 2022 tournament is currently scheduled to return to Lord's Cricket Ground.
