
Goals, goals, goals: British Army's young footballers impress on unbeaten American tour

The British Army under-23s football team have played three matches on an overseas tour to Miami, USA.
The tour kicked off with a 3-0 win over Plantation Rush FC before a 3-3 draw with College Dreamers FC.
The goals continued to fly in during the Army's final game as they edged a nine-goal thriller to beat Florida Wolves FC.

The tour also matched up with England's pre-World Cup training camp and the players were able to be in attendance for some of the warm-up matches as well as a visit to the Miami Marlins.
Warrant Officer Class 1 Keith Emmerson announced he would be stepping down as head coach in February after leading the Army to back-to-back Inter Services titles at under-23s level.
This tour was his final duties with the team and he said: "We always planned to finish with a tour. The under-23s have never, never been away. It's always been the women, seniors and masters so it was one of my objectives to deliver during my tenure."
