
RAF Boxers win complete set of medals at the Four Nations Championships in Scotland

Royal Air Force boxers Amelia Kennedy, Cameron Lewis and Carys Mainwaring have all bagged medals at the prestigious Four Nations Championships in Motherwell.
Of the back of winning an English national title, Amelia Kennedy narrowly won gold for England in the female senior U54kg category after beating Scotland's Stephanie Kernachan by a 3-2 split decision.
Her RAF and England teammate Cameron Lewis, who also came into this championships as an English national title holder, made it all the way to the final of the male U80kg category, but was beaten by Kelyn Cassidy of Ireland by a 4-1 split decision.
Carys Mainwaring, representing Wales, lost out on a place in the final after losing in the semi-final of the female U60kg to England's Ella Lonsdale by a 4-1 split decision, but would later go on to win the bronze medal.
The Four Nations Championships brings together the best emerging boxing talents representing England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
The championships provide another important opportunity for top talent across the four nations to gain valuable experience against high-quality opposition.
