Hitting the bullseye: Military sport boards officially recognise Darts as a Forces sport

Darts has been officially recognised as a Forces sport by all three services' sports boards.
The three services have given the sport an official acknowledgment with it becoming a Category 3 sport in the British Army and RAF and a Category 4 sport in the Royal Navy.
It means that inter-unit, ship and station tournaments can be arranged as well as other official sporting fixtures with the support of the service sports boards.
