Infantry climb to new heights at bouldering championships

It's a sport that is climbing in popularity and 30 competitors turned out to be crowned Infantry bouldering champion in Leeds.

The 2023 Infantry bouldering championship took place at Last Sun Dance with Connor Higginson taking the title with a good performance.

Ryan Chamberlain was the runner-up while Adam Myers completed the podium in third place.

Bouldering is essentially rock climbing without ropes and harnesses.

Competitors have to rely on their strength and grip, along with a bag of chalk, as they tackle tricky climbing courses.
