RAF Footballers Take Inter-Services Title

The RAF has claimed the Inter-Services Women's Football Championship on goals scored, after a 1-1 draw with the Navy at Cosford.

After a slow first half, the Royal Navy scored early in the second half through Ciara Boylan.

But they also had a player, Anthea Kaptein who was already on a yellow, controversially sent off for handball.

Rachel Griffiths struck back for the Air Force to make the final score 1-1.

But thanks to the RAF's goal against the Army, and the fact that neither the Army nor the Navy scored in their matchup, the spoils went the way of the light blues.
