Royal Navy beat Army to win Rundle Cup polo competition for first time in seven years

Watch: See the action from the 2024 Rundle Cup clash at Tidworth

The Royal Navy polo team have won the 2024 Rundle Cup for the first time since 2014.

The annual match against their rivals from the British Army ended with a 6 1/2-5 victory for the Navy in Tidworth.

The clash takes place in the Festival of Forces polo which also includes a UK Armed Forces v US Armed Forces match which saw the British team win 4-2 to claim the bragging rights.

This year's matches nearly didn't happen after heavy rain left parts of the the Fisher Ground pitch under water six weeks ago.

However, a huge amount of goodwill from club members volunteers and ground staff got the pitch over the line.

Watch action from the day's festivities in our featured video above.
