Army women dominate Bedford Tigers in Super League South
The women's Army Rugby League team have beaten the Bedford Tigers in a dominant display in Super League South.
The ladies in red scored three tries in the opening first half whilst conceding a try to the Bedford-based team to bank 14-4 on the scoreboard at half time.
They scored a further four tries in the second half to build a comfortable lead going into the final stages of the game.
The Army won by 36-14 at full-time, beating the Bedford Tigers in a well-controlled and managed fixture.
Securing third place, the Army will face the London Broncos ladies in their Women's Super League South semi-final fixture on 13 August.
