Amy Cokayne targeting 2029 Rugby World Cup in Australia after momentous final win at Twickenham
The RAF's 2025 Rugby World Cup winner Amy Cokayne has told BFBS Forces News that she hasn't written off helping England retain their trophy at the 2029 tournament in Australia.
Cokayne scored an important try in both the semi-final and final as the Red Roses finally clinched the World Cup on home soil this summer.
Now, the Sale Sharks star is looking ahead to another go Down Under in four years' time, and if she makes it to the tournament, it will be her fourth World Cup adventure.

"I could do," said Cokayne. "I've definitely not written it off."
"When the final whistle went, me and Abbie Ward were both like 'let's do this again, one more time' so we'll see if we can keep our bodies going for four more years."
For Cokayne and England, winning the final against Canada at the Allianz Stadium, better known as Twickenham, was the third time lucky in a World Cup final after losses to New Zealand in the 2017 and 2021 tournaments.
"Luckily, the final wasn't as nail-biting as the last one and it didn't come down to the last line-out," said the eight-time Six Nations winner.
"It was a great day. I loved it, and the atmosphere was incredible. I'm not sure I'll ever play in a rugby match ever quite like it again.
"I think the attendances for whoever was playing was great up and down the country. It's definitely been a tournament that will definitely turn the tide."
