Record crowd watches Inter Service showdowns between RAF and Army at Kingsholm
A record crowd watched the Inter Service Rugby Championship matches between the Royal Air Force and the British Army in Gloucester.
Five thousand seven hundred and forty three people attended Kingsholm Stadium on Saturday 11 May to watch the Army women retain their Inter Service crown and the men win back their title.
The British Army women continued their dominance in the IS Championship with a commanding 36-19 win over the RAF.

The Army men won an enthralling clash 45-21 to take the trophy back to Aldershot.
The previous night, 1,117 people were in attendance to watch the Army veterans defeat their Royal Air Force opposition 24-0.
It is the largest overall turnout for the three senior RAF v Army matches (not counting U23) since they moved to Kingsholm in 2019.
