Hollywood Stars are Double Trouble on BFBS Extra This January...

When Legend had its cinematic release in 2015, audiences were amazed by Tom Hardy’s performance as London’s most notorious gangsters the Kray twins. Their characters were poles apart but with an incredible bond, their seamless interactions (most notably THAT amazing fight scene) almost made you forget they were being played by the same person. Now, as the film comes to BFBS TV, we’ve noticed that this performative feat has inspired other Hollywood actors to take on dual roles.

First off, Oscar-nominated James Franco stars as the Martino Twins in The Deuce. Dodging the law to become legendary in their own right in the sleazy world of the porn industry in ‘70s New York, we’ll follow their story with brand new episodes on Monday nights from 8th January on BFBS Extra.

Meanwhile over in Minnesota, Ewan McGregor has been nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance as the questionable ‘Stussy’ twins - Ray, down on his luck and worse for wear and his brother the slick and slimy Emmit- who become involved in a double murder case in the brand-new series of Fargo starting on Tuesday 9th January on BFBS Extra.
And to top it all off? You can see the BFBS TV premiere of Legend, the movie that inspired it all, on BFBS Extra on Thursday 18th January.
