Ukraine's new stealthy combat kayaks armed with grenade launchers

The Ukrainian forces have got a new weapon in their wheelhouse – and it's something quite unexpected.

The Poloz-M16 combat kayak is a two-seater boat, along with some James Bond-style extras. 

Made specifically for Ukraine's Armed Forces, an automatic grenade launcher can be fitted on its prow.

The 40mm UAG-40 has a range of more than 2km, giving the kayak a deadly punch.

It can also carry kit for cooking, sleeping and camping and has an all-weather hull for both hot and cold temperatures.

The Poloz-M16 can be remotely piloted and adjusted for multiple tasks, with an almost silent electric motor giving it both stealth and speed.
