What would be on UK's shopping list to preserve a Ukraine-Russia peace deal

What would the UK need to buy for troops in Ukraine if there was a peace deal?

The UK has committed £200m to prepare British troops for a possible deployment to Ukraine as part of a multinational force in the event of a peace deal.

So, what will the funding be spent on?

First of all, it is a lot of money, which in itself implies there is lots to do. All of it will come down to two things: protecting the 5,000 or so British troops from missile and drone strikes if Russia breaks a ceasefire, and at the same time giving them enough punch to defend themselves.

In our video, BFBS Forces News reporter Simon Newton explains what the UK would be looking to acquire to help troops in Kyiv should there be a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.
