Civilian underdogs S.E.A Dragons crowned BFBS Pro League Season 2 champions

The S.E.A Dragons have won season two of the BFBS Pro League after a thrilling Grand Final at the RAF Musuem in London.

The final saw the Dragons beat the number one military team from the Army Buzzards in a best of seven by a 4-2 scoreline.

The match was a brilliant end to a superb season of action across military esports.

The play-offs

The day's action started with two matches to round out the quarter-finals. In an all-Army clash, the Kestrels were well beaten by the Falcons as Gidds and Walmsleyy ran riot in a 3-0 series win.

In the other play-off match, an exciting contest saw the Royal Navy Krakens beat the RAF Knighthawks 4-3 including a dramatic golden goal from AKA_Ty1er.

The quarter-finals

It was RAF Typhoons, who were made up of some of last year's winners, taking on the Army Falcons in the first quarter-final and it was the Air Force team who dominated the action. Cedric was in goalscoring form as they won 3-1 in the series.

It was a similar story for the RAF Stormshadows who dispatched the Navy Krakens to book their spot in the semi-finals with a 3-0 win.

The semi-finals

The number one and number two seeds were booked straight into the final four and the Army Buzzards took on the RAF Typhoons.

The Typhoons won the first match by a Cedric golden goal, but that just angered the monster as the favourites for the trophy won the next two matches to win the series 2-1.

The S.E.A Dragons were the only civilian team in the competition but standing in their way of the final was the RAF Stormshadows. The Dragons took the place in the final with a good performance.
