Three elite veterans take on 100 civilians in paintball challenge – but who emerged the victor?

Watch: Who won the challenge?

One hundred civilians took on former Special Forces soldier Mark 'Billy' Billingham of Channel 4's SAS: Who Dares Wins and two other highly trained veterans in a fierce paintball challenge.

And many of the civvies foolishly thought they could win.

The adrenaline-fuelled challenge saw civilians pitted against the three elite veterans – with a combined military experience of 60 years – to help launch the new BFBS Radio UK schedule.

Billy Billingham said: "The enemy came prepared, but we've got the right training and experience.

"We showed even three people can beat 100.

"We fought through and naturally we won."

Billy was joined by ex-sniper Richard French, who served with the Coldstream Guards and 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, and Hannah May, formerly a sergeant in the Royal Artillery and an instructor at Larkhill.

The messy encounter was to help launch the new BFBS Radio UK schedule which started on Monday 13 May across the UK on DAB+.
