£600,000 Boost For Veterans Charities in Scotland

The Scottish Government has given veterans and armed forces charities a £600,000 boost.

The money will go towards extra support for armed forces veterans, who have been helped in their thousands by Veterans Scotland.

The extra cash was announced by the Scottish Veterans Minister Keith Brown with almost a quarter of a million pounds worth of the funding pledged by finance company Standard Life.
