Army Ladies tug of war team finish fourth in World Championships in Nottingham

The British Army Ladies tug of war team narrowly missed out on a medal at the 2025 World Championships in Nottingham.
A defeat to Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals ended their hopes of winning the tournament. They were also beaten in the bronze medal encounter.
Earlier in the tournament, they had managed to get through a pool stage that involved eleven teams in the Open 540kg competition.

Their positioning as fourth in the world completes a successful summer for the Army team after they picked up a handful of medals at the British and Irish Championships in Northern Ireland.
