Army boxer Terri Stuart reaches final of England Boxing National Amateur Championships

Army boxer Terri Stuart is through to the final of the England Boxing National Amateur Championships.

The lance corporal won her light welterweight 63kg semi-final, beating rival Annika Yates by a unanimous decision.

In reaching the final, LCpl Stuart, who serves with 1 Regiment Army Air Corps, will attend a Great Britain and England Assessment Camp at their base in Sheffield.

The finals of the England Amateur Championships are set to take place in Newcastle next weekend.
