Royal Marine Kyle Shaw-Tullin wins bronze at Feliks Stamm World Boxing Cup in Poland
Marine Kyle Shaw-Tullin has won a middleweight bronze medal for Great Britain at the Feliks Stamm World Boxing Cup event in Warsaw, Poland.
The Royal Navy and Royal Marines boxer faced Uzbekistan's Fazlidden Erkinboev in the semi-final round after he secured a dominant victory over Germany's Mouxime Abdoulay with a unanimous points decision in the previous round.
However, despite a closely fought semi-final round, the Royal Marine found himself on the wrong side of a 3:2 split points decision to the Uzbek boxer and had to settle for a bronze medal.
Mne Shaw-Tullin is one of the brightest stars in military boxing and continues to build on an Inter Services win over Sapper Marley Devitt in March.
His latest performance in Warsaw is a continuation of an impressive run of form from the Royal Marine on the international stage, where he recently bagged a gold medal at the Bee Gee tournament in Helsinki, Finland.
In 2024, he also bagged gold for England at the Grand Prix in Zagreb, Croatia, in December and the Three Nations in Scotland in June.
