Armed Forces Karting Championship: Racers continue title fights at Fulbeck

The race for titles in the 2023 Armed Forces Karting Championship is hotting up after round five saw racers take on the Fulbeck course in Lincolnshire.
The championship series is the biggest karting tournament in the United Kingdom with 86 teams competing from across the three services.
Currently, the RAF are leading the Inter Services competition although the Army drivers closed the gap with a good performance in Lincolnshire.
The Premier class individual championship sees the RAF's Graham Walker lead the way ahead of another Air Force driver James Ling while the Navy's Sam Cresswell rose to third in the standings after an impressive win in Fulbeck.
The Army's Ian Hodgkiss was the driver to lose the most in round five. He started the weekend top of the leaderboard but a collision with Jack Watson in Heat 3 resulted in the racer not being able to compete and he's now slipped to fourth in the standings.
Meanwhile, the Endurance race failed to reach the full three rounds due to a red flag incident and the session was not restarted.
The Fleet Air Arm III team top the Endurance Class Super team standings with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Corps No. 6 in second and RAF Leeming I in third.
The forces drivers will return for round 6 in Rowrah, Cumbria, on 22 September.
