Army rugby star Mitieli Vulikijapani signs for Doncaster for 2026 season

He's a man with talents in both rugby codes, but Mitieli Vulikijapani has made a return to Championship rugby league.
In union, he appeared in two Army v Navy Allianz Stadium clashes, winning in 2022 in a red shirt.
In League, he's also had Inter Services nights to remember, but it's his civilian rugby career that has gained him more popularity.

He has played at Super League level with Hull, scoring eight tries, as well as representing Fiji at the 2021 World Cup; now he's ready to embark on his next chapter.
He's signed up for a season of action with Championship side Doncaster and could make his debut in the next league game against Salford on 1 March.
He told Doncaster's website: "I'm very pleased. My former teammate was telling me how good Doncaster is, about the fans and the atmosphere at the club, so I'm looking forward to it.
"I was given the opportunity to play rugby league for my previous club and now for Donny, so I'm happy to be here and to continue my career.
"I'll bring positivity to the group. I know a few of the players here, the boys have welcomed me, the coaches and management too, so I'm looking forward to the season."
