Watch: See how the men's and women's teams are preparing for their important tournament clashes

The UK Armed Forces men's and women's rugby union teams will be competing in key sevens tournaments in the United States of America and United Arab Emirates.

The men's team are set to take part in the RugbyTown Sevens Championship in Denver on 23 August against the likes of the USA under-23s team and Germany.

Meanwhile, the women's squad will be led by former RAF and Wales international Corporal Sian Williams when they take on the Dubai Sevens in November.

The men's team will have a large Army contingent after the service's win in the Super Sevens series this year while the women will have key XV players such as Daisy Fahey and Jade Mullen involved.

Both teams were training in Aldershot where BFBS Sport reporter Julian Evans managed to get an inside scoop on their expectations for the tournaments which you can see in the featured video above.
