Royal Marine Taylor Lawrence and driver Brad Hall have completed their World Cup two-man bobsleigh season, as bronze medallists.

It follows a fifth and fourth place respectively in the final two races of the season at Sigulda.

This ends a memorable season for Lawrence and the GB Team, winners of the four-man European championships, second in the World Championships and a silver medal in the season-long four man World Cup.

The two-man bobsleigh team, this year consisting of driver Brad Hall and Mne Taylor Lawrence for six races and Brad and Greg Cackett for two, brought home Team GB's first-ever two-man overall medal.

The team came in third with 1,582 points to become Great Britain's first-ever two-man bobsleigh Overall World Cup medalist.

According to British Bobsleigh and Skeleton Association: "Their incredible achievement also means another overall bronze in the combined rankings for two-Man and four-Man this season".

Mne Lawrence alongside driver Brad Hall, Greg Cackett and Aaron Gulliver became the most successful British four-man team in history when they finished the World Cup season second earlier in the month.

The British quartet made history and secured the first men's overall medal since 1995.

Their season had been spectacular for the crew, with them only missing from the podium once.

Army veteran Corie Mapp, also experience an outstanding finish to the season, finishing the para-sport season ranking in second place after winning his last race in Lillehammer.

The former British soldier simply said on Twitter: "Hell of a ride."
