HMS Westminster practises drills en route to Armed Forces Day

Royal Navy personnel aboard HMS Westminster practised a number of drills as they headed north towards Scarborough for Armed Forces Day.

The Type 23 frigate and her crew left Portsmouth harbour, destination the North Yorkshire seaside town.

Not long after departing, personnel were tested with an onboard fire exercise, as well as a man overboard exercise, with both sea boats and a swimmer launched in response.
