Defence Secretary Dan Jarvis has paid tribute to the families and friends of the US service personnel killed and injured in Jordan.
On 17 July, two US service members were killed and another is still missing following an Iranian ballistic missile and drone attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, US Central Command (Centcom) confirmed in a statement.
"Our UK forces are working to help protect partners in the region – their safety remains my highest priority," Mr Jarvis said in a post on X.
In a separate incident over the weekend, Centcom said a US service member was killed in Iraq during the "controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance" from a downed Iranian attack drone, which also wounded a second service member.

The Pentagon identified the two fallen soldiers as 1st Lieutenant Tyler James Feehan, 25, and Private Isabella Gonzales, 19.
It did not disclose the circumstances of their deaths.
It brings the number of US service members who have died in the nearly five-month war to 17.
Regarding the missing service member, Centcom said it had conducted a thorough search of the site and recovered "unidentified remains". An examination process is currently ongoing.
The developments come as the US launched a fresh wave of strikes against Iran for the ninth consecutive day.
US Central Command said it would continue "degrading Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz".
