Taylor Lawrence to miss start of bobsleigh season as pilot Hall recovers from injury

Royal Marine Commando Taylor Lawrence will miss the start of the 2023/24 sliding season as teammate and Great Britain bobsleigh pilot Brad Hall recovers from a back injury.
Britain's four-man bobsleigh team, which includes Mne Lawrence, will miss the opening competition in Beijing next month and two other pre-Christmas races in La Plagne and Igls.
Double Olympian Hall is due to have a microdiscectomy to cure symptoms associated with a prolapsed disc.
Mne Lawrence, along with Hall, Greg Cackett and Arran Gulliver, slid their way into the history books in the 2022/23 season winning Britain's first four-man World Championship medal in 84 years, as well as winning European Championship gold and multiple medals at World Cups.
The team hopes to return to action in the New Year, with the primary focus being the World Championships in Winterberg, Germany, from 24 February to 3 March 2024.
