Ukraine tests robodog ground drone for use in recon and demining missions
Ukrainian Armed Forces have been testing the use of a robotic dog that could be used to clear mines from the battlefield.
Footage posted on Telegram showed the robodog hopping along a dirt track, tracking through the undergrowth and running alongside Ukrainian personnel, as shown in the video above.
The post from the editor-in-chief of Censor.Net, Yuriy Butusov, said the robodog was being put through its paces by the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
Alongside footage of the robodog, the post said additional video showing the drone in action during combat conditions would soon be shared.
It is not the first time the use of robotic dogs has been reported from Ukraine, with Ukraine's former defence minister releasing a video of a robotic dog last year.
